Rain, Casinos, and the Mirror Incident
Friday was pretty low-key, it was still rainy outside and the mood was not really conducive to riding. We did take Marliss' truck and do some more casino hopping, and Tunica does have some nice casinos in a sort of circle of roads in the surrounding area. Here is a shot of Marliss, Garrett, and Tonya having a low-key breakfast.
Here is another shot of Tonya and I inside the Sam's Casino, she won $80 playing nickel slots, and I lost about $40 on the Roulette Wheel - so all in all we came out OK.
As I mentioned before, Tonya's mirror had broken off. We decided that since our time in Tunica was coming to an end, now would be a good time to fix it. Again, I had hoped that the three of us (Tim, Scott and Garrett) could have taken an opportunity to ride and just be together - even if it was only for a few hours - at least a tank of gas. Sometimes fate has other plans, Garrett was off gambling somewhere and I couldn't find him, and Tim wanted to get back to Marliss. Hmph.
So, we rode into a small little town, purchased some 'liquid weld' and made certain Tonya's mirror never fell off again. For that matter, I don't think it will ever MOVE again.
