Christmas Day

A little foggy first thing in the morning

Breakfast in Clearwater at the Steak n' Shake

Lunch in "middle-of-nowhere" Florida

Evening in St. Augustine

Writeup:  It was a great day of riding.  We took backroads all the way up, LOTS of twisties and even a few legitimate hills to make things interesting.  Just south of Ocala, Lou began making his way home.  I rode the rest of the day at my usual pace and surprisingly didn't have much in the way of drama.  I did blow by two troopers at a pretty quick pace, and I DID run into a bunch of jerks at a gas station.  About the jerks - look, if you are on a ride with a group of friends and I pull up to get gas, I'm just saying "hello" - in fact, that's what I said . . "hello" to a bunch of women on sportbikes.  They looked at each other, then proceeded to ignore me.  Fine, go f* yourselves, you've got a lot to learn about being a motorcyclist.   No biggie, I wasn't going to ask any of you for anything, just saw you next to me at the gas station and said "hello."
